When creating a makeup look for a client I always use a lip brush. This is mostly to avoid any cross contamination as all my brushes are thoroughly washed and disinfected after every client, but it is also for accuracy.
It isn’t always necessary to use a lip brush, if you are using a neutral shade or reapplying you can easily just apply straight from the tube, but here are my top tips for lip brushes
- Using a lip brush will help you achieve a flawless lip, especially important if you are using a strong lip colour
- Lip brushes actually save you money, because you will use less product at each application and you’ll be able to get right down to those last few strokes
- Choose a tapered brush for the best finish
